Summer 2020 is looking a lot different than what we envisaged earlier in the year with measures still in place to combat the spread of Covid-19 and a ban on mass gatherings of events. A drive-in bingo is an opportunity to have a large community event from the safety of your own car. All you have to do is drive in, turn off your engine and buy a bingo book. If you get a line, simply beep your horn! Beep Beep!
Event starts at 3pm. Please arrive early, Gates open at 1pm.
Single Book costs €20, Double Book €30
Bank Card Payment accepted
Cars only please, no minibuses or pedestrians.
Place: Kilmore Training Grounds (Eircode H18 HY65)
This Drive-In Bingo is a vital fundraiser for the club and all funds raised from the bingo goes directly back into the club and all support is greatly appreciated. During the pandemic lockdown the club’s means of raising funds have been severely curtailed and this event along with our online lotto is a practical but fun way of supporting our club!
Any member who wishes to volunteer can do so by giving their details to any club officer.

GAA Revised ‘Safe Return to Gaelic Games’ Guidance
We have now successfully entered the revised accelerated Phase 3 of the Roadmap to general reopening of society, effective from Monday 29th June. The GAA issued a revised statement regarding its own guidelines of reopening for us, some of which are already in effect. This included for pitches to reopen for training only. This is on the understanding that players and all participants have completed the eLearning module and are following the control measures in place (health questionnaire etc) and is on the basis of a maximum of 15 players in a designated area of the field.
The Advisory Committee is considering the position in relation to other GAA buildings (such as Club bars that are serving food, Gyms, Handball alleys etc). Please download our Clubforce app to receive direct messages of the activities and events dates as we are enabled to confirm them definitively. We will also notify the developments through the club notes and our Social Media platforms. Please note, our community assistance will still continue on and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we work out our own road map to fully reopening. Watch this space, Stay Safe. An Bhoth Abu.
Kilmore walking track temporarily closed for the Big Big Drive In Bingo Event

The track is fully open all other times to the general public, but please respect the hours between 10am and 12 noon as a time and space for those over 70 and vulnerable to walk only (this group can walk any time as well if they wish). Please adhere to Social distancing guidelines while walking, remaining 2 metres away from people outside your household, with no more than 4 people in a group and walking in one direction only (as guided onsite at the track).

Our continuing community help and thanks during the Covid-19 Pandemic
As we move on forward July and have successfully entered phase 3 from Monday last, we would like to continue and reinforce our message that we are here to help. Scotstown GAA would like to reassure those in our community that we are still here to help.
Please continue to follow the HSE and government guidelines which are frequently posted. Hopefully we will move into Phase 4 on July 20th. We would also like to praise and thank the front-line staff in the services during this time and all the goodwill that is happening in our community. Thanks everyone for abiding by the latest staying safe, washing hands and social distancing guidelines and for being patient during this time. Many thanks to all our volunteers involved.
