Parish Spring Cleaning
To keep our beautiful parish clean and litter free, there are bags, high vis jackets and litter
pickers available in McMahons Centra Shop from tomorrow Monday 7th March to weekend
after St. Patrick's Day. We encourage as many people, particularly those with spare time
and want to go for a walk to help us out in picking up any litter that happens to be out there.
We would like to limit the pickers to 1 or 2 per household. Please leave full bags at the green
on the day of collection (we will let you know what day that is). Please observe current Covid
19 restrictions. Use gloves, keep your social distancing and within 5km of your home. Many
thanks! The bags, litter pickers and the jackets are courtesy of Monaghan County Council,
environment section and Nial o Connor. We greatly appreciate this and thank them very
much.
